How to read the staff |
These five lines and 4 spaces are called the STAFF
Notes are placed on the lines and between them. Each note has a letter name. The musical alphabet goes from A to G. After G it starts at A again.

The lowest line of the staff is an "E" note. Here are the notes on the staff:
To help remember the letter names of the notes, remember these sayings:
